Lilly’s whole ‘Just hang out and see how things go’ plan was staring to feel like a rather bad idea. She stepped through the archway leading into the common room. Sirius wasn’t there. Mary sat down on the sofa, questioning if she should go and find Lilly and just leave this business, when she saw a shadow appear at the the door.
She smirked at Lilly, admiring her joke. “But.. I mean he hasn’t really done anything wrong.. So what should I say?”
“Well, he knows you miss him. Because I heard him talking about you with James yesterday. So… Just act normally. As if nothing’s wrong. Just ask to hang out. Y’know?”
